Advisory Board of the University College of Khurma

Vision

The Advisory Board is composed of a carefully selected group of experts representing the industrial, social, agricultural and educational sectors.

Composition of the Board

1. Provide advice to the faculty council, faculty members, administrative staff and students, where the council's tasks are focused as a platform for exchanging ideas between the educational institutions and the industrial, agricultural, community and educational programs to manage the academic programs.

2. Provide advice on important academic subjects in the educational and applied fields and assist the department (or college) in preparing graduates in their suitability to the needs of the labor market using the latest learning and teaching methods.

3. Establish and strengthen strong partnerships between the university college and the industrial, governmental, community and agricultural sectors to address the connection of graduates to the needs of community service and the labor market and improve the quality of academic programs.

Message of the Council

1. Establish good relations with government departments served by academic programs.

2. Provide permanent communication channels to the government departments served by the academic program.

3. Ensure the production of academic programs for the College of the required types of graduates.

4. Improve the quality of the programs by hearing the opinions, recommendations and suggestions submitted to the Council.

5. Provide guidance and guidance on scientific research and future developments in this field.

6. Provide the opportunity and resources necessary for the participation of faculty members in cooperative projects for scientific research and development of industry, agriculture, service and society.

7. Assisting or opening an area for the appointment of graduates of the academic programs of the College and providing broad options for work.

Objectives of the Council

1. The Council shall consist of 5 to 10 members of the representatives of the governmental, industrial, agricultural, community, educational and information departments.

2. The Dean of the College shall preside over the Council.

3. The Deputy Dean or one of the program directors shall be the secretary of the Council.

4. Members of the Board should be composed of well-known experts in the field or senior officials in their respective institutions.

5. The term of office of the Council is valid for 3 years and is renewable.

6. The Council shall meet at least twice a year.

7. The Council has no executive powers or powers to make decisions.

8. The Board shall provide advice and advice to program heads, faculty members and students.

Instructions

1. The President of the Academic Program or the Academic Affairs and Development Coordinator shall discuss the establishment of the Council with the Dean of the College and obtain approval.

2. The President of the Academic Program and the members of the faculty shall nominate the members of the Advisory Council upon the recommendation of the College Administration. The members of the Council shall represent the companies, industrial, agricultural, educational, community and media organizations, sponsors and supporters of the students.

3. The proposal of the members of the Advisory Council shall be approved by the College Council.

4. After the approval of the College Council, it shall be submitted to the Chancellor of the University or the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Development for final approval.

5. The Council shall take action immediately upon obtaining the approval of the Vice-Chancellor or the Rector or the University Council.

6. The College Council or the Academic Programs Board may issue further regulations to improve the efficiency of the College Advisory Board as needed.

All meetings of the Advisory Board shall be documented and the recommendations for the meeting must be approved by the President of the Council or the Dean of the College after the meeting.
