The Saudi flag and the epics of steadfastness and construction

On Monday, 11/3/2024 AD, Taif University, represented by the University College in Al-Khurmah, held a symposium entitled “The Saudi flag and the epics of steadfastness and construction” via the Maharat platform on the occasion of Flag Day.
The meeting was moderated by Ms. Marwa Al-Rehaily
His Excellency the Dean of the College, Professor. Ali bin Mutheeb Al-Subaie, gave a lecture entitled “The Saudi Flag: Contents and Implications.” His Excellency explained the national and religious connotations of the flag, which indicate monotheism, justice, strength, growth, prosperity, and witness to the unification of the Islamic State.
His Excellency Dr. Mutrek bin Turki Al-Subaie, Associate Professor of History at Ranyah University College, also spoke about the Saudi flag throughout history. Her Excellency the vice Dean of the College, Dr. Sahari bint Abdul Rahman Al-Obaisi, gave a speech about the symbolism of the flag in some verses, in addition to presenting a poem about the flag by the student Ayed bin Eid Al-Subaie.
