Celebrating World Civil Defense Day
date of publication : 2024-03-05On Sunday, 22/8/1445 AH, the University College of Al-Khurmah hosted the celebration of World Civil Defense Day under the slogan “With technology, we seek to protect you,” with the participation of the Civil Defense Department in Al-Khurmah Governorate. The ceremony was attended by His Excellency the Governor of Al-Khurmah Governorate and a group of departments from the Ministry of Interior in the governorate, in addition to government departments and all employees of the college. The college took the initiative to launch a follow-up initiative to celebrate this occasion, prepared by students of the Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering at the college, entitled “Safety and Optimal Use of Technology.” His Excellency the Dean of the College, Prof.. Ali bin Mutheeb Al-Subaie, delivered a speech by the host, in which he expressed the great pioneering role of this lofty edifice. The humanitarian, moral and social duty towards our people and our society and interaction with the local community. A speech was delivered by the organizing body represented by the Civil Defense Department in Al-Khurmah Governorate, Colonel / Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Shuail.
At the end of the ceremony, the entities and individuals participating in the ceremony were honored and a tour of the exhibition accompanying the ceremony was taken.
