Ceremony to celebrate the 93rd National Day
date of publication : 2023-10-05The University College of Al-Khurma held a joyful ceremony on the occasion of celebrating the 93rd Saudi National Day. The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Mr. Shaker bin Khalid bin Louay - Governor of Al-Khurma Governorate, members of the local council, and heads of government departments.
The ceremony began with verses from the Holy Quran, raising the flag and singing the national anthem. His Excellency the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ali bin Mutheeb Al-Subaie, delivered a speech in which he expressed the eternal memory in the conscience of every member of the Saudi people, under the slogan “We Dream and Achieve,” and about the college’s participation in the joy and achievements of the nation, which captures the greatest meanings of love and loyalty to the leadership, belonging to the nation, and sacrifice. We defend him with everything we have. The ceremony included the presentation of a documentary video explaining the Kingdom's achievements until it became the greatest success story of the twenty-first century.
In addition to pulpit poems and poetic dialogue between students. The ceremony also included an exhibition highlighting the students’ various activities and creativity, the history of Al-Khurma, the establishment of the college, and the departments and programs available within it. The ceremony commemorated the 93rd Saudi National Day, a day of pride, honor, nobility, loyalty, and belonging to the homeland, its leaders, its history, its past, its present, and its future.
