Environmental Protection at the University College in Khurma
date of publication : 2022-03-27On Tuesday, 19/8/1443 AH, the University College in Khurma, represented by the Community Service and Volunteering Unit, held a workshop entitled "Environmental Protection" within the activities of the Environment Week 2022 under the slogan "Our Environment - Our Responsibility". The workshop was prepared by Dr. Alia Shalaby and Dr. Ghofran Boudjemaa and a. Marwa Al-Rahili.
The workshop touched on the most important problems facing the environment, mentioning the most important solutions taken to overcome these problems and emphasizing the raising of the value of the personal and moral level in preserving the environment as a social responsibility. It also presented the causes of air pollution and its relationship to the widening of the ozone layer hole with how to confront that type of pollution.
The workshop also reviewed the Green Saudi Initiative and the huge investment opportunities it provides for the private sector and creating job opportunities for young people.
At the end of the workshop, the Environmental Ethical Charter was presented.
