The Department of Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy is specialized in teaching courses dealing with the design and formulation of pharmaceutical products, drug delivery systems, their laboratory and biological properties, methods, and control tests to ensure quality. The department also teaches courses related to the theoretical foundations and backgrounds of most industrial processes and equipment used in various pharmaceutical industries.

The department of pharmaceutics aims to provide graduates of the pharmacy program with the pharmaceutical skills required to engage in the market.

Mission:

The Pharmaceutics Department aims to prepare and graduate highly qualified pharmacists based on the latest educational and laboratory pharmaceutical technologies to support pharmaceutical health care in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
