Taif University strengthens its partnerships with research and commercial and industrial companies

Taif University launched a program to strengthen partnership with major research institutions, companies and commercial and industrial institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. A team from Taif University completed the first phase of the partnership program. The visit included a visit to a group of industrial companies and research institutions including the visit of the Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research, Batterjee Pharmaceuticals and Arab Textile Company, while the next phase of the program aims to visit major companies in the energy, petrochemical, telecommunications and medical industries. The team in charge of the program was headed by Dr. Eman S. Alzahrany, Vice-president of the Female Student Affairs.

Dr. Awad Al-Jaid, , the Deanship of University Development and Dr. Rana Zaini, the Dean of the College of Community Service and Continuing Education as well as representatives of the concerned colleges. The main objective of the program is to promote the scientific and research achievements of Taif University in the labor market, The program also seeks to find mechanisms to support and enrich the educational and research process by involving undergraduate and postgraduate students in research, by identifying topics of graduation projects in a way that serves the requirements of the labor market, and linking theoretical education in the curricula.
