Conditions for withdrawing from the semester

1- The student may withdraw from continuing to study the C semester without being considered to have failed.
2- The request to withdraw from studying is submitted electronically by the student within the period specified in the academic calendar.
3- The student’s remaining period for graduation must be within the regular period.
4- The student will be given a grade of A or W in all courses registered in the semester if his excuse is accepted.
5- The excused semester is counted within the regular period necessary to complete graduation requirements.
6- Apology semesters do not exceed two consecutive semesters or three non-consecutive semesters throughout the student’s undergraduate study.

According to the academic year system, the student who apologizes is considered deferred in the following semester.
Scholarship students are not entitled to withdraw from studying.
The student has the right to withdraw his request to withdraw from studying within a maximum period of seven days from submitting the request for apology.
Important notes:

It is not recommended to drop a semester unless absolutely necessary, as this exposes the student to delays in the study plan and problems in registering courses in the following semesters.
The semester apology period ends on May 4, according to the university calendar for the second semester 1445.
