Controls for withdrawing from a course

date of publication : 2024-04-18

A student may withdraw from a course according to the following conditions:

1- Withdrawal from only one course during the semester.

2-The number of courses withdrawn from should not exceed (five) courses throughout the student’s studies at the university for the bachelor’s level.

3-The remaining hours after withdrawal must not be less than the minimum (12 registered hours).

4- Students expected to graduate in the semester - who have less than 24 hours remaining until graduation - are not entitled to withdraw from the Study C course.

5- Scholarship students do not have the right to withdraw from a course.

6- The student has the right to withdraw the withdrawal request from the course within a maximum period of three days from submitting the withdrawal request.

Important note: It is not recommended to withdraw from a course unless absolutely necessary, as this exposes the student to delays in the study plan and problems in registering courses in the following semesters.
