Regulations and conditions of Paying the Excellence Reward to the occupants of health careers , those affixed to the health list 

 

Excellence allowance for those included in the health jobs list

 

Conditions for disbursing the distinction allowance:

 

1- The allowance does not exceed 30% of the first-degree salary of the level occupied by the employee.

2- Obtaining an excellent rating for job performance for the last two years.

3- The percentage of the allowance is determined according to the following elements :

A. Obtaining awards or honors for excellence in performance from accredited bodies.

B. Carrying out volunteer work in community service .

C. Participation in working papers in medical seminars and forums.

D. Providing specialized scientific research and experiments.

E. Writing scientific or educational books.

F. Publish scientific papers in a peer-reviewed journal .

Note :

• 10% of the first-degree salary shall be paid from the level occupied by the employee if one of the above-mentioned elements is met

• 20% of the first-degree salary shall be paid from the level occupied by the employee if two of the above-mentioned elements are met

• 30% of the first-degree salary shall be paid from the level occupied by the employee if three of the above-mentioned elements are met

G. Obtaining a patent for a medical device or creating a therapeutic medical formula or a new method that contributes to the development and advancement of the medical field .

Note :

In the event that this element is achieved, 30% of the first-class salary shall be disbursed from the level occupied by the employee, and it is not permissible to combine this percentage with what was mentioned in paragraphs (A to G ) described above.

4- Professional record :

  1. Non-issuance of a disciplinary decision by a disciplinary committee or other relevant authorities during the past three years.
  2. No technical or administrative punishment occurred during the past year (such as: absence, delay, warning, attention ... etc.) .

5- Productivity :

A. Commitment to the tasks of specialization according to the quorum (for hospital and center workers) (such as clinics, surgeries / shifts / binoculars / x-rays that have been read / the number of new patients ... etc.).

B. The practice of specialization (taking into account the workload of those assigned to other work).

C. Commitment to attend and participate in organizational and educational activities in the facility.

D. Participating in or supervising the activities in the facility (coordinating the schedule of shifts / schedule of operations / educational activities / reports / studies ... etc.).

E. Participation in the technical, administrative or scientific committees in the facility.

6- The names of the beneficiaries of this allowance are determined according to a report prepared by the permanent committee for the payment of the distinction reward for faculty members and those of similar rank and submitted to the university president for approval.

7 - The entitlement to disbursing the reward starts from the date of its approval, and applications that preceded the date of its approval by the university president are not accepted.

8- Upon approval by His Excellency the President of the University of the minutes of the permanent committee for the disbursement of the Excellence Reward a decision is issued by His Excellency the President of the University of those entitled to the allowance, and it will continue for a period of (12 months) .

Instructions for submitting the application:

1- The application form shall be filled out by the employee (printed, not handwritten) and then approved by his direct supervisor.

2- A recommendation from the faculty dean, and the request is submitted to the head of the committee.

Required Documents :

1- Completed application form.

2- A copy of the professional registration card from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

3- A copy of the job performance report for the last two years.

4- Attach the documents supporting the entitlement to take the allowance.

Mechanism for disbursing the reward for excellence

for those covered by the health jobs list

 

1- Filling out the application form for the award of distinction compensation from the applicant.

2- The application will be submitted by an official letter to the permanent committee for the payment of the distinction reward

3- The application will be studied by the permanent committee for the disbursement of the distinction reward to verify that it fulfills all the conditions for paying the allowance.

4- The permanent committee for the award of distinction reward prepares a report for this and will be submitted to His Excellency the University President for approval.

5- The committee minutes, after being approved by the President of the University, will be sent to the Vice-President for disbursement.
