Taif University held a special event for Flag Day entitled: "History of the Saudi Flag" and opened the event with the royal salutation, then verses from the Holy Quran, after which the session director, His Excellency Dr. Patriotism, dear to our souls, in which he explained the importance of this day and the deepening of national identity and belonging to this benevolent country under its wise leadership. After that, the discussion of the symposium began with Her Excellency Dr. Latifa Al-Adwani, Head of the Taif History Center and Head of the Department of Social Sciences at the University, who specializes in national history, and Dr. Jahan Ibrahim Shar, Assistant Professor of Modern and Contemporary History.
