The effectiveness of the mobile library

The Reading Club, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs at Taif University, held an event entitled (Mobile Library) in cooperation with the Mather Club, starting on Sunday 9/7/1445 AH corresponding to 1/21/2024 AD for three consecutive days. The event was carried out on Sunday and Monday in the female students’ section in the presence of Deputy Dean of Student Affairs for Student Services and Activities: Dr. Maram Abdul-Jabbar, and on Tuesday in the student section under the auspices of the Dean of Student Affairs: Dr. Ahmed Fallata. The number of male and female students attending reached 300, and the mobile library aims to spread the culture of reading among the students of Taif University and raise the cultural level among them. Several various activities and programs were presented, including a dialogue session entitled Effective Reading Strategies, cultural competitions containing valuable prizes for the winners, and an exhibition of a number of club books. Reading to inform and provide access to information sources for male and female students. Statistics were presented showing the total beneficiaries of the Reading Club since its founding in 1439 AH to 1445 AH. The club’s achievements in various events and activities were also presented. At the end of the event, the extent of attendees’ satisfaction with the event was measured with questionnaires published among them, and it was Distribution of souvenirs to attendees.
