Food waste programme

Food waste is a global concern because of its dire effects on the social and environmental levels. From this standpoint, the Mather Club at the Deanship of Student Affairs held a program entitled Reducing Food Waste and Loss on Tuesday, December 6, 2023. In cooperation with the Our Food Club at the College of Science and the Salem Bin Mahfouz National Foundation. The program aims to spread awareness of the importance of food diversification, food reuse and recycling, and to educate the community on how to deal with food surplus. The total number has reached 147 female students and university employees.
