The university’s participation in the athletics championship - athletics for people with disabilities of the Saudi Universities Sports Federation
date of publication : 2023-11-06Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education (Mr. Yousef Al-Benyan), 13 female students from the university participated in the athletics and athletics championship for people with disabilities of the Saudi Universities Sports Federation, which was held at King Saud University in the period from 4/10/1445 to 4/12/1445. They were among The participants were 9 straight female students and 4 female students with disabilities.
Student Nouf Ali Al Zaidi from the College of Science was able to achieve sixth place in the javelin throwing competition out of 28 participants from various universities.
Afnan Aida Al-Sawat, a visually impaired student from the College of Business Administration, also won two gold medals in the 200m running and javelin throwing competitions.
