Taif University celebrates the International Day of Persons with Disabilities

Under the patronage of the President of Taif University, Prof. Dr. Youssef bin Abdo Asiri, the university concluded the activities of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities at the Heart of Taif Mall. In cooperation with the Taif Charitable Society for People with Disabilities, and with the participation of a number of governmental and private agencies, and the university’s colleges and deanships with specialization.
The university also celebrated the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on the stage of the College of Education. With the participation of a number of colleges and deanships of the university.
The celebration included a group of awareness sessions presented by a group of specialists and those interested in serving people with disabilities. The sessions discussed Kingdom’s efforts to care for people with disabilities and discovering talented among them, increasing family and community awareness of their rights, the importance of their enjoyment of human rights, participating them in society, and consolidating the concept of equal opportunities for all.
