TU rated highest in the report of the National Center for Mental Health Promotion (NCMH)
date of publication : 2022-02-02TU achieved the highest rate in the final report on the achievements of the mental health promotion committees among Saudi universities, according to the report of the National Center for Mental Health Promotion (NCMH) for the year 1442 AH.
The report includes (5) main axes that came to build the balanced personality of the university student. They are the enhance of mental health concepts, the Student Care Center (University Counseling Department), community initiatives in the field of mental health, Scientific and research activity in the field of mental health, and attention to risk factors within the university environment.
It is noteworthy that Taif University was one of the first universities to form a mental health promotion committee in response to the speech of His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Education for Universities, Research and Innovation, which aims to activate health promotion groups in universities in coordination with the National Center for Mental Health Promotion.
