Dean of College of Medicine at Taif University, Dr. Dalal Namnaqani, has warned of the harmful effects of overweight and obesity on the progress of nations. The costs of treating obesity and the resulting diseases are the highest in most countries.
Dr. Namnaqani said in a press statement during the World Obesity Day that the prevention of overweight and obesity will reduce the budget of health care, increase the productivity of individuals and promote the progress of nations.
