TU President Dr. Husam bin Abdulwahhab Zaman stressed that the University's vision for volunteering is to transform it into an institutional work. With this in mind, the University has launched the volunteering online portal, formed voluntary teams, and established a unit for volunteer work in the Deanship of Community Service and Sustainable Development. The University aims to create a large base of projects and volunteer work that will encourage students to participate continuously and sustainably. President Zaman stressed that the success of voluntary initiatives depends on the participation of students, hoping that the prospective volunteers will exceed 1000 and form more than ten volunteer teams before the end of this year. Dr. Zaman expressed his appreciation for the University's students and staff, as well as volunteers (both males and females) from government agencies and civil institutions.

The Dean of Community Service and Sustainable Development, Dr. Rana Ghazi Zaini, has also said that the University embraced many volunteer work and community service initiatives. During the first semester of this year, the University, in cooperation with its partners, enrolled 514 volunteers in the volunteer online portal, while the Deanship has completed 24 volunteer projects.

On the other hand, Eng. Mamdouh Al Harbi, the Executive Director of the Salem bin Mahfouz Foundation, stressed the importance of the efforts of the public and private sectors as well as government agencies in the Kingdom to contribute to the success of Saudi Vision 2030, which stressed the importance of voluntary work. Mr. Al-Harbi also expressed his appreciation for the strategic partnership with the University, which covers several fields, including volunteer work, building academic leadership, and student skills.
