Workshop on the Introduction to LaTeX

"LaTeX is a word processing tool capable of creating publishing-quality documents. This workshop covers all the basic features necessary to write your own document in LaTeX. After completing this workshop, you will be able to:
- Create a simple LaTeX document and title page,
- Learn the basic layout of a LaTeX document,
- Use sections and paragraphs, - Use packages to add more functions, - Learn the basic math features and how to typeset and align equations, matrices and fractions, - Include images/figures within your LaTeX document, - Create LaTeX tables, - Generate autoatically a table of contents, a list of figures and a list of tables, - Create a bibliography, - Create footnotes, - Handle errors.
