In a speech at the third annual graduation ceremony of the College of Engineering, sponsored by BAE Systems, TU President stressed that the University’s culture is characterized by two main features.

The first is the University's pride in the results of its fruitful partnerships and how it transformed them into projects that go beyond the theoretical aspects to real results that link the knowledge and skills acquired by the university students to the reality of the world in line with the Saudi Vision 2030. The second feature of TU culture is that “no body behind.” We all (men and women) work as a cohesive team, giving the opportunity to all to achieve our goals together, in an environment that supports creativity.

Dr. Zaman thanked all University staff and students, as well as its partners who contributed to enhancing these characteristics of the University's culture institutionally and educationally.

Dr. Muslih Al-Harthi, Dean of the College of Engineering, said that the exhibition included student projects in engineering applications and in a number of specific disciplines such as renewable and sustainable energy, nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, automation, communications, electronics, roads and smart cities.

The ceremony was attended by Peter Travis, General Manager of the Typhoon Project at King Fahd Air Base, and Abdullah Al-Asmari, Director of the University Investment Program at Saudi BAE Systems.
