As part of its celebration of World Theater Day, Taif University honored three theater figures who served the university theater. The celebration was attended by TU Vice President for Academic Affairs and Development Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Asmari and a number of theater figures from Taif, Makkah and Jeddah. The awardees are Abdullah Bahattab, former director of theatrical activity at King Abdul Aziz University, director Subhi Yusuf, and the late actor Faisal Saud Al-Harthi. The celebration featured The Book of Margins, winner of the first place in the theatrical competition of Taif’s secondary schools, Dream, written and directed by TU student Omar Massoud, and a film about the Theater
