A Memorandum of Understanding between TU and IDP

IELTS tests to Be Held at TU Campus

Taif University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IDP, an international educational company. The memorandum aims to help international students finding suitable study options abroad, including the IELTS test at the University and free admission for TU students wishing to apply for scholarships to study abroad.

Dr. Hossam Zaman, TU President, has attended the signing between the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Development Dr. Abdulrahman Al Asmari and the Director of IDP Educational Company in the Kingdom Dr. Iman Al Harbi. Dr. Zaman said that the memorandum is part of TU’s drive to establish partnerships and agreements with globally reputable companies and institutions in the field of education, publishing, and scientific research.

Dr. Al Asmari said that, "IDP is a leading global company that caters to international students to find suitable study options abroad, and support the educational institutions all over the world, runs IELTS testing centers in more than 40 countries, and helps academic and professional institutions as well as governmental bodies pick the right applicants.”

Dr. Mansour Al Malki, Dean of Ancillary Studies and Head of the English Language Center, said that the MoU includes the computerized IELTS test and the on-campus paper test. In addition, a series of professional development courses will be held for faculty members in the Center as well as free admission services for TU graduate applicants.
