Taif University Inaugurates the Program Transformation Project

In line with the Saudi Vision 2030 and the plans of transformation and development for all aspects of the educational process in the Kingdom, HE Dr. Hussam bin Abdul Wahhab Zaman, TU President, inaugurated the electronic platform for the program transformation project, in the presence of the deputies of the President, deans, heads of departments and a number of faculty members.

The program transformation project, which includes 33 programs in TU colleges and branches, aims at developing and reviewing all academic programs and study plans according to a specific methodology and mechanism for the work of colleges, academic departments and committees to ascertain the extent to which the requirements of the National Qualifications Framework have been met. HE Dr. Hussam bin Abdul Wahhab Zaman explained that the program transformation project is part of the "Role Model University” program which is one of the University’s programs in "How to Be a Role Model" project launched by HRH Prince Khaled Al Faisal, Adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of Makkah Province.

HE Prof. Abdulrahman bin Awad Al Asmari, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Development, pointed out that the program transformation project comes in the context of the “The University We Want” initiative which aims to develop all the university programs as well as improve their quality.
