TU wins many awards at the First Saudi Universities Theater Festival
date of publication : 2021-12-12Taif University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, won many awards in the first Saudi Universities Theater Festival, which was organized by Jazan University, with the participation of more than 100 students representing 11 Saudi universities, achieving the highest percentage of prizes in the festival: (Best Theatrical Script Award, Best Scenography Award, and Best Director Award).
The Saudi Universities Theater Festival aims to stimulate talent, enrich the Saudi theater, create a supportive environment for creators, and open the way for competition and exchange of expertise and experiences.
The festival presented 11 theatrical performances. It also provided the participants with a training environment in the field of theater, acting and writing, in addition to providing practical seminars after the end of each theatrical performance, with the participation of a group of specialists in the field of acting and theater directing.
