National Security Threats...A lecture at Taif University

TU, in coordination with State Security, held a lecture entitled (Threats to National Security), for the official spokesman for the Presidency of State Security, Major General Bassam Al-Attiyah.

Supervisor of the Intellectual Security Unit, Dr. Misfer Al-Maliki, spoke about the importance of community institutions in promoting intellectual, stressing that the university is the first line of defense in the face of extremism. Then he gave a visual presentation on the Intellectual Security Unit and its most important achievements.

After that, TU president, Prof. Yousef Asiri spoke about intellectual security and its importance in the lives of individuals and societies, stressing that the establishment of security in any society is based on instilling moderation, and pride in the homeland.

The lecturer, Major General Bassam Al-Attiyah, reviewed the determinants of national culture and levels of national security, the changes in societies and the movements of political, and social change; stressing that the greatest supporter for preserving the homeland is the internal system of society.
