TU launches five new channels of communication with its deanships and departments
date of publication : 2019-07-31TU Acting Vice-President Prof. Turki Al-Thubaiti inaugurated on Wednesday five new communication channels with TU beneficiaries through WhatsApp Business Service.
These new channels will serve the beneficiaries of the Deanship of Admissions and Registration, Student Affairs, Graduate Studies, Community Service and Sustainable Development, as well as the General Administration of Faculty and Staff Affairs.
TU Director General of the Department of Public Relations and Information, Dr. Sattam Al-Otaibi, said that the launch of WhatsApp Business Service is part of TU’s development initiatives “The Taif University We Want” and “University without Walls.” Dr. Al-Otaibi confirmed TU’s keenness to enhance communication and interaction with its employees and local community via all technological means in order to enhance communication with beneficiaries and keep them abreast of all new developments and services provided by the University.
The inauguration was attended by Vice-President for Academic Affairs and Development Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Asmari, Vice-President for Female Student Affairs Dr. Eman Al-Zahrani, and other officials concerned.
