TU President approved the change of specialty results for students admitted to the university in 2017/2018.

Dr. Wasl Allah Al-Swat, Dean of Admissions and Registration, said that during the spring semester the deanship began receiving applications from students wishing to change their specialties, and that they are now screening applications. Applications are approved contingent upon the availability of seats in the department concerned, students’ cumulative GPAs, and order of their wish list.

Dr. Al-Swat noted that the screening process was automated and the University adopted the principle of transparency and fairness in all its procedures, stressing that after approval it is not possible for students to back out of their new discipline.

Dr. Al-Sawat pointed out that acceptance of students in sports science is provisional until the physical fitness test is passed, that transferring to the Department of Quranic Recitations depends on memorizing the Holy Quran completely and passing the required tests, and that students wishing to transfer to Department of Foreign Languages (English) must obtain a score of 68 in the English language proficiency test. These tests will be held at the university on August 26, 2019.
