Information Technology Unit

The Information Technology Unit is a specialized unit that provides technical support to the faculty members and students in the field of information technology. The Unit, in cooperation with the Deanship of Information Technology at the University, provides the college laboratories and offices with the best technical equipment and the latest software and consulting services. The Unit is also interested in providing vocational and technical training for faculty members and students.



A pioneering and effective Information Technology Unit to serve Turabah University College, in the development of technical knowledge and services for faculty members and students.



Maintaining the high level performance of faculty’s technical equipment through continuous technical support,  and developing the technical skills of faculty members and students through providing specialized training and seminars.



  •  Contributing in the achievement of the college’s vision and mission, which is represented in the "leadership and excellence of scientific and academic".
  • Be the link between the college and the Deanship of Information Technology at the University.
  • Upgrading Information Technology services in the college and providing new technologies.
  • To increase the level of Information Technology services utilization in the college and reduce the reliance on manual and paperwork.
  •  Assisting faculty members in following up the technical developments in the university, in the Kingdom and internationally.
  • Providing technical support to the faculty members in the fields of information technology.
  • Provide technical advice in the field of information technology to faculty members not only in the scope of university services.
  • Contribute to the provision of appropriate Software that will achieve the vision and mission of the College in coordination with the Deanship of Information Technology.



The College's Information Technology Unit provides the following services:

  • Supervising the development and updating the College’s website content, and works on making the College’s website has correct, accurate, and update information about the College, that means the website be the first and best information source about the college and the easiest College’s service gate.
  •  Installation and preparation of required hardware and software for laboratories and offices.
  • Solve both hardware and software technical problems.
  • Work to complete the connecting and operating of wired internet at the male students' campus as soon as possible.
  • Follow up the local network at the female students' campus and ensure safety and security standards.
  • Cooperation with the Deanship of Information Technology to provide any new software the faculty staff or the educational process need.
  • Provide and install the latest updates to the applications on the college hardware to ensure the work efficiency and protect both information and hardware resources.
  • Preparing training courses that will develop the skills of faculty members and students and supervise their implementation.
