Art therapy for children
date of publication : 2023-01-31The University College in Al-Khurma, represented by the Student Activities Unit, held an event entitled "Art Therapy for Children" on Sunday 7/7/1444 AH under the slogan "Promoting Your Mental Health by Drawing and Coloring
The event was held in the early childhood center of the college. The event was presented by Dr. Taghreed Muhammad Mahmoud Al Dhale’a, Assistant Professor, Department of Early Childhood. The event aimed to present an art therapy program to treat the behavioral and psychological disorders that some children suffer from. Where the most important methods of art therapy, its types and activities related to it, and a review of some art therapy experiences in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The event concluded with the application of some art therapy exercises, with the participation of female faculty members and students present.
