TU students receive second place in the Cultural Olympiad of Universities

Taif University students won the second place award in the Cultural Olympiad of Saudi Universities, held at King Khalid University. TU President Dr. Husam bin Abdul Wahhab Zaman congratulated the University for its achievement in the Cultural Olympiad. He expressed his thanks to the creative students, who represented Taif University at the Olympiad, and the Deanship of Student Affairs, and colleges for supporting student activities.

 

TU Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Bandar Al-Bugami stated that achieving the second place in the Cultural Olympiad competitions was the result of the efforts exerted to develop student cultural activities university-wide. Dr. Al-Bugami pointed out that the success of the Cultural Olympiad helped discover the best young talents at TU.

The number of participants in the competition was 422 students who competed in 14 cultural and artistic fields.

 

TU students won many advanced places in individual competitions. Four participants won first place in four competitions: Abdullah Fayez al-Thubaiti (Oratory), Azzam Abdullah al-Nimari (Drama), Ahmad Sami Abdul Rahman (Exposition), and Ibrahim Salih Al-Zahrani (The Short Story). TU students also won second place in two other competitions. The winners were Khadem Osman (Poetry), Abdullah Faisal Al-Balawi (Short Film). On the other hand, Ramiz Osama Farooq won third place (Prophetic Traditions).
