Workshop reviews the experiences of volunteerism

Taif University, represented by the Voluntary Work Unit of the Deanship of Community Service and Sustainable Development, held a workshop in titled: "Volunteering the secret of your success". This workshop is part of the Second Volunteer Forum that organized by the University as a part of its participation in the Makkah Cultural Forum (How to be an example).

The workshop was presented by Dr. Sattam Al-Otaibi and dealt with several axes. It also included discussions between the trainer and the audience about the importance of voluntary economically and developmentally at the level of the individual and society.

The workshop also highlighted the definition of the basic concept of volunteering, the motivations that make the volunteers active in the field of human service, the qualification that make them acquire many human and technical skills and building their experiences for the future.

At the end of the workshop, the participants presented their most important volunteer experiences in order to enrich their knowledge and experiences in this field.

It is also noteworthy that the University participates in Makkah Cultural Forum (How to be an example) this year with three initiatives, focusing on the service of Hajj and Umrah. The initiatives are "Voluntary Work Portal", "Umrah from Taif" and "Watch in their language".
