TU holds the first program to qualify female leaders in universities

TU President, Dr. Hossam Zaman, said in his speech that the professional development programs for the university leaders contribute in building a new culture at the higher educational institutions in KSA.

Dr. Zaman described the universities leaders' project as a model for real development work involving governmental, professional and charitable organizations that offers distinguished programs benefiting all faculty members.

He pointed out that this project was initiated by the Ministry of Higher Education. After that it was invested by a distinguished group of faculty members in the "House of Expertise" at King Abdul Aziz University. Finally,the project was sponsored by a respected charity organization" Salem bin Mahfouz Foundation ".

Dr. Saad Al Masoudi, Director of the University Leaders Project stressed that the interest of any organization in its staff is an important indicator of its vitality because Leaders are the cornerstone of any organization. They make the difference between the reality of the organization and the ambitious future that it hopes to reach.

For her side, the Undersecretary of the Deanship of University Development, Dr. Hind Al-Khamash, stressed that different levels of academic and administration leaders participated in the program. They aimed to be influential and make change inorder to achieve the Saudi Vision 2030.
