Taif University inaugurated with King Abdulaziz House the Taif History Center
date of publication : 2022-06-26A number of academics, historians, notaries and businessmen attended, and this occasion was held in the former King Saud Palace at the headquarters of Taif University and under the guidance of His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Youssef Asiri, in appreciation of the status of this place and an affirmation of the generosity of the history of Taif.
His Excellency the President of Taif University, Prof. Youssef Asiri, and His Excellency the Secretary-General of the King Abdulaziz House, Dr. Fahd Al-Smari, signed a memorandum of understanding between Taif University and King Abdulaziz House to establish the (Taif History Center) located at Taif University.
This cooperation aims to preserve the history, archeology and heritage of Taif Governorate due to its ancient historical position, and to exchange experiences and competencies to serve the national history and achieve the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030.
