The Department of Food Science and Nutrition, Faculty of Science, Taif University, was established in 1439 AH with the continuous support of the University administration, which seeks to adopt academic programs closely related to the labor market and the need for qualified candidates in the field of food and related sciences.
The department aims to provide concepts of food chemistry, food representation, food processing techniques, food safety, and additives, packing methods, quality control and genetic improvement.
The department has an excellent team of members of the educational, technical and administrative staff, who spare no effort in working to upgrade the department and develop its courses according to the latest developments in the field of food science and nutrition.
