Workshop in cooperation with the American Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) International Accreditation

As part of the College of Pharmacy’s administration’s quest for the continuous development and raising the level of graduates towards a better future, the College of Pharmacy held a workshop in cooperation with the American Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as the first step in its journey to obtain the international accreditation certificate from the ACPE for the "Doctor of Pharmacy; Pharm.D." Program at the College of Pharmacy, Taif University.

.At the beginning of the workshop, Dr. Michael Ross – the Assistant Executive Director and Director of International Services at the ACPE- expressed his admiration for the continued efforts of His Excellency the President of Taif University, Dr. Youssef bin Abdo Asiri, and His Excellency the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Majid bin Mansour Al-Robaian to seek International American Accreditation from the ACPE for the Pharm. D. Program at the College.

The workshop - which was held online on 1-2 March 2022 - dealt with many topics, the most important of which are the history of the ACPE and its services, the goal of the international accreditation certificate from the ACPE, the steps to apply for accreditation, writing the self-study report, and the procedures for the final visit to the College by ACPE members.

Ms. Sylvie Castrate - Director of Office Operations and Coordinator of the International Services Program at the Council participated in the workshop- expressed her happiness to cooperate with the administration of the College of Pharmacy and those in charge of Development and Academic Accreditation in the college, especially the coordinator of Development and Academic Accreditation at the college, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Abdel Halim Ali and Their Excellencies, Heads of Quality Standards in the College: Dr. Ahmed Fath Al-Rahman, Dr. Hani Arab, Dr. Ibrahim Naguib, Dr. Sayed Fikri, Dr. Iman Santali; the Vice Dean of the Female Section, and Dr. Muhammad Al-Qarni.
