Advisory committee meeting with the deputy secretary of the Saudi commission for health specialties

The Professional Advisory Committee of the College of Medicine met with the Deputy General-Secretary of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, Prof. Sulaiman Al-Omran and representatives of health leaders in the Armed Forces Hospitals and Health Affairs in Taif. The results of questionnaire of students, graduates and stockholder as well as the recommendations of the previous meeting have been displayed. Many suggestions have been put forward to achieve excellence for the MBBS program, and to enrich the spirit of competitiveness and morale among the graduates, and raise their aspirations for excellence. In addition it was agreed to pay all possible effort to facilitate and enhance the clinical training activities for medical students in Taif Hospitals, in addition to many mechanisms aimed to the development of the educational process. It was also suggested to increase the rate of recruitment of the graduates of College of Medicine Taif University in the Health Sectors in Taif. It is worth mentioning that the Advisory Committee is keen to strengthen the professional partnerships between the College and the health sectors to serve the Saudi community and provide an opportunity for students to acquire adequate clinical and professional skills.
