College of Medicine Participated in the First Aid Course for Hajj and Umrah Volunteers

Taif University, represented by the Volunteer Unit of the Deanship of Community Service and Sustainable Development, has organized a first aid course for the volunteers of Hajj and Umrah who registered in the Voluntary Work Portal.

The Volunteer Work Portal is one of the three initiatives by the university within the competition of Makkah Cultural Forum. This training course is part of the Second Volunteer Forum, which will be organized by the University next week. It includes five training workshops and a panel discussion.

During the course, Dr. Yasser Hussein Al-Nefai (College of Medicine) and Dr. Reem Ahmad Al-Zahrani (College of Medicine), have provided training in first aid such as CPR for adults, first aid for fractures, bruising, suffocation, fire, bleeding and heat exhaustion. The course included practical application of CPR, Measurement of biological processes.
