History

Before the establishment of the Faculty of Dentistry at Taif  University, the Higher Education Council issued its decision No.  23/49/1429 to approve the merger of health Faculties and institutes  to universities, and this was crowned with the supreme approval of  this decision under the royal supreme directive No. 5150 / MB and  dated 3/7 / 1429 AH

Then, the Higher Education Council issued its meeting minutes to  restructure the Faculties of Health Sciences in Taif, affiliated with Taif  University, and the record was by passing number (3/1430) and date  4/7/1430 AH 

Then, the approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prime  Minister and Chairman of the Council f Higher Education, may God protect him, was issued on the session minutes under the telegram directive  o. 5088 / MB and the date of 7/8/1432 AH on the  establishment of the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Taif  with its five departments (Department of Oral and Maxillofacial  Surgery and Diagnostic Sciences, Department of Community and  Preventive Dentistry, Department of Restorative Dentistry ,  Department of  asic Dental Sciences , Department of Supportive  Dentistry) and its various divisions to be within the faculty system of Taif University
