Taif University, represented by the Faculty of Arts, celebrates the International Arabic Language Day 2022.

His Excellency the Vice Rector for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Khaled Al-Sawat, witnessed; #Taif University, represented by the Faculty of Arts, celebrates the #International Arabic Language Day.
The ceremony included an accompanying exhibition and a speech on this occasion by His Excellency the Dean of the College of Arts, Dr. Mazen bin Muhammad Al-Harthy, and a documentary film on the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the service of Arabic prepared by His Excellency Dr. Jamila Al-Obaidi, and a panel discussion entitled: (Arabic Language as Civilization) in which His Excellency the Head of the Western Language Department participated. Dr. Amal Al-Qathami, His Excellency the Head of the Department of Social Sciences, Dr. Latifa Al-Adwani, His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al-Zahrani, Advisor to the President of the University for Projects, His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Al-Baqami, Vice Dean of the University College in Turaba, and His Excellency Dr. Jihad Al-Omari, a faculty member in the Department of Computers, through which the speakers presented various topics on the contribution of language Arabic in human civilization and culture and enriching its role in the production of knowledge and cultural diversity.
His Excellency Dr. Fawaz Asiri, Dean of the Deanship of E-Learning and Information Technology, presented an algorithmic initiative for an interactive Arabic dictionary, and the ceremony included a sung poem by the poet Dr. Ahmed Al-Osaimi, a faculty member in the Department of Foreign Languages.
