The Department of Medicine has 17 faculty members specialized in different sub-specialties of Internal Medicine. The curriculum of Medicine is patient centered and continually adapts to the needs of society and developments in medical knowledge. The focus remains on teaching widely prevalent diseases across the globe in general and in the KSA in particular following the guidelines of Saudi Medicine Competency.
The clinical training of internal medicine begins  in 4th year and bed-side teaching is imparted to students  in three hospitals of Taif City. The emphasis is laid on professionalism empathy and sympathy in various clinical encounters during bed-side teaching.
Some of our graduates of the department have achieved national recognition in clinical practice, research, and healthcare leadership.
