May prayers and peace be upon the most honorable of the prophets and messengers, and upon His family and companions.

I am pleased to welcome you to the Department of Civil Engineering at Taif University, where dreams are drawn, planned, and constructed with dedication and perfection, to achieve the Kingdom's 2030 vision.

The Department of Civil Engineering, which was established in 1430 AH (2008(, offers two programs, a bachelor's degree in civil engineering which includes many branches including construction and materials engineering, water and hydraulics engineering, sanitary and environmental engineering, soil engineering, transportation and traffic engineering, and surveying engineering. The second program is a bachelor's degree in architecture, which accepts both male and female students.

We are proud that the Civil Engineering program obtained the academic accreditation for engineering and technology (ABET) and is currently working on obtaining a national academic accreditation from the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA).

The Department of Civil Engineering is proud to have a group of professors who hold PhDs and fellowships in higher education, as well as research excellence in areas that support the realization of the vision of the college, the university and the Kingdom, while focusing on the opportunities of development and improvement of Taif Governorate to emphasize its geographical prominence and significant touristic advantage.

Students in the Department of Civil Engineering at Taif University learn everything they need to become qualified and competent engineers who are able to achieve the vision of the Kingdom. Students in the Civil Engineering Department are also trained in community service by being involved in development projects that serve the citizens of Taif Governorate and the Kingdom as a whole. Additionally, the Department of Civil Engineering has multiple laboratories for teaching and research purposes, which include advanced devices to carry out tests and experiments in all fields of civil engineering.
