TU Simulation Center receives US accreditation to be a training center of CPR

TU Simulation Center has been certified and accredited by the American Heart Association for CPR programs. The center received the certificate during a meeting between TU Vice-President for Academic Affairs and Development Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Asmari and the Middle East and North Africa Regional Director of American Heart Association Dr. Zahra Al-Hilali.

Supervisor of the Simulation Center Dr. Ebaa Filimban said that the center aims to raise the efficiency of health practitioners, undergraduate and graduate students through providing high quality training and simulation programs that serve the community, support scientific research by using qualified human resources and technological training environment.

In cooperation with the American Heart Association, Prof. Al-Asmari honored Salim Al-Shaibani for his initiative to save the child Hattan Al-Qurashi from drowning in a park after he applied the instructions of cardiopulmonary resuscitation that he previously had learned at the center.
