Zaman welcomes the cultural cooperation between the universities of Taif and Kuwait

TU President Dr. Husam Zaman welcomed the establishment of bridges of cooperation with Kuwait University. Dr. Zaman’s remarks were made during a meeting with the Dean of the College of Arts at Kuwait University, Dr. Suad Abdul Wahab, on the occasion of her visit to the College of Arts at TU. TU President confirmed the readiness of the College of Arts at TU for all aspects of cooperation and cultural exchange with its counterpart at Kuwait University. He reviewed TU’s cultural activities, most notably organizing the annual cultural program of the Okaz Festival, the Arabic Poetry Academy, and the Prince Abdullah Al Faisal International Prize for Arabic Poetry.
The Dean of the College of Arts at Kuwait University visited the headquarters of the College of Arts at Taif University and met with the Dean Dr. Nayif Al-Barrag and the college staff. She was briefed about the departments and programs in the College: Arabic, History, Foreign Languages, and Psychology, Chinese, and French as well as the Arabic Language Program for non-Arabic Speakers. Dr. Al-Barrag stressed the importance of academic exchange with Kuwait University in terms of regional benchmarking, the exchange of faculty members, and launching "educational tourism" whereby students of each college can take relevant summer courses in the other college.
