TU honors its distinguished researchers

 Within the initiative of supporting researchers at Taif University

Taif University has honored the first three researchers who win in the initiative of supporting researchers for scientific publication. The initiative aims to encourage TU's faculty members to publish in classified databases and to improve the university’s research ranking among local, regional, and international universities.

Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Khaled Abdullah Al-Swat said that the university honored the distinguished researchers whose published scientific papers passed the standards of the international scientific publishing databases (ISI).

Dr. Walaa Bin Fahad Al-Sanei, Dean of Scientific Research, said that the honored researchers are: Dr. Mohammad Mahmoud Hassan Ali, Associate Professor of Biology at the College of Science; Dr. Khalaf Faisal Ghazi Al-Sharif, Assistant Professor of Clinical Laboratories at College of Applied Medical Sciences; and Dr. Ashraf Yahya Al-Barakati, Associate Professor of Anatomy at College of Medicine.

 This initiative stems from the Saudi Vision 2030 vision for enhancing research expertise, localizing research work and improving its outputs to ensure the transformation to the knowledge economy and increase the number of Saudi universities listed among the best universities in the international classification.
