TU holds the " Program Accreditations Locally / Internationally" symposium

Under the patronage of TU President, Prof. Yousef Asiri, in the presence of the university vice presidents and colleges deans, a symposium on "Program Accreditations Locally / Internationally" was launched. In the symposium, the university’s experience in institutional academic accreditation, the international program accreditation for the College of Engineering programs, the road map for the program accreditations, as well as the procedures for supporting programs that submitted for accreditation were reviewed.

The symposium also hosted the consultant Prof. Dr. Samar Al-Saqqaf in a live broadcast in which she talked about the international accreditation for academic programs and the benefits that accrue to the students of the university by accrediting their degrees in the  international universities, enabling them to complete their postgraduate studies at any university without the need to be equalized, as well as supporting the university rank at the local and international level within the future vision of Taif University.

TU Vice President for Academic Affairs and Development, Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Asmari stressed the importance of  program accreditations locally /internationally, and the President of the University honored College of Engineering and College of Computing and Information Technology for obtaining the international accreditation of ABET as well as College of Community Service for obtaining the international accreditation COE.
