TU Scouts to help security forces and government sectors in serving pilgrims

35 scout members from Taif University took part in the Ramadan Service Camps to help security forces and government sectors in serving pilgrims in Makkah.

TU Scouts Director Khalid Al-Sufyani explained that due to their efficiency TU Scouts were deployed this year in the most crowded area in the Holy Mosque during Ramadan.

Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Bandar Al-Bugami stressed that TU’s interest in serving pilgrims is  part of its pioneering role of service in the region of Makkah. Praising the annual role played by TU Scouts in serving pilgrims, Vice Dean for Cultural and Social Activities at TU Dr. Ahmad Fallatah said that students were properly trained and qualified to carry out this duty.

Scout Turki Al-Otaibi expressed his happiness to participate in the camps, stressing that the benefits of this volunteer work are very great, as he had the opportunity to meet many pilgrims from various nationalities, languages, and cultures.

Omar Al-Zahrani, participating for the first time in the Ramadan Service Camps, expressed his pride in joining TU Scouts, which helped develop his passion for volunteering, especially in this sacred place, which is one of the educational goals of the scout movement.
