Launch of Taif Roses Festival (16th )
date of publication : 2021-03-23In a virtual ceremony held by Taif University, Taif governor, Saad bin Meqbel Al-Maymoni, inaugurated the 16th Rose Festival 2021 under the slogan “Taif Roses brings us together,” and toured with TU President, Prof. Yousef Asiri in the Rose Exhibition, which included the corners and booths of the rose farms, then he honored the designer of the 16th Rose Festival logo, Wareef Al Hemidan, the female student from College of Design.
TU President emphasized the university's pioneering role in supporting this national product, as the university, through the Rose Research Chair, contributed about 56 research and projects. Then documentary films and operetta about Taif Roses was screened in the ceremony.
